thelovelybones:White Oleander // 2002
J: I felt as sticky and slimy as a melting ice-cream when I reached home. I have nothing to do now. My phone battery is flat, if not I could have post the 400 pictures I took with my phone during my travels. Haha. Like I have the patience with this dumb computer to post 400 pictures. I guess someday, perhaps, you will have to wait. Sorry.

J: I’m back! Phew, 7 days just passed like the wind. My mum muttered: “There goes our $7500.” I will post pictures and text in my lj later on but not today. Hm. I’m feeling a little cranky. Packing up is tough and tiring. (We bought so much so that we haven’t finish packing yet.)  And due to the morning calls we get during the holiday, I can only manage to sleep a little and have to wake up early. Even for this morning, I woke up at 8.30am. God, I want to sleep. Work resumes tomorrow and I’ve read Stephanie’s lj, seems that there’s alot of work to do tomorrow as well. :) I like getting busy at work. But no, not 10 people queing in a row or whatsoever. My spectacles will slip off (due to swear) and I look like a grandma. Talking about spectacles, it reminds me, I lost my left contact lens on the first day in Taiwan. :( I will get a new pair tomorrow I guess.

Pissed.

Wow. Now tumblr has tumblr-cut too. Haha. I want a lappy like right now. I’m pissed by what I’m using now. If I have the mood, I’ll post pictures on lj later. Gaa, I will have to use codings. So hate-ful. And. I don’t know, I’ve not read on blogs that prom was lousy or something and that they blame the excos. I don’t know. But I’ve read something somewhere. Yea, we’ve done our best. I think it’s time for explanations (If this can make you feel better). 1. We did not have a proper rehearsal. All had lessons or other activities and couldn’t come. Only excos and helpers came. It was a redundant rehearsal. But we trusted them. There were crop ups, true. Especially the games part. But I thought the other half of the event was great. Like what Benson said, impromptu is always a challenge. But they did handle it well. I went back home to think about it, it’s not their fault. Maybe only that they should have prepared earlier. But we didn’t pay them anything, just allowed them to grab some food from the buffet. But I think he didn’t really eat. And we had alot of last-minute changes. This is better than expected already. THANK YOU EMCEES AGAIN! :D 2. The playlist thing. Uh. Actually… I was the lousy deejay (if you want me to put it that way) during the dance session. But I can pat my chest and say that I am not in the wrong. I played a song, then the next minute people start coming and tell me that the song is no good and call me to choose another one (most of the time, they offered a song title) and I had to agree with them, because NOBODY’S DANCING. :( So there were alot of breaks, sudden cut-offs. If you still want to blame me, then go on. :) I only #$%&*$%^& this group of people. It’s ok to take photos. But when I need help, please come to me, do your job. :( I know it’s getting late, but why can some of you do jobs but others just stand there and take photos. I walked and ran until my toes grew in size. Weird I know, but it happened. UH. But yea, thank you helpers for coming. Some really did a great job. :) This is a long grumbling post. Nevermind, I’ll not mention anything negative on prom out of this post anymore. It’ll make the seniors feel that prom was not a success. I thought it was a success. At least there were people coming to us to say “Thank you for whatever you’ve done.” Well, thank you to you you and you too. :) And I remember seeing happy faces when people are leaving.

PROM NIGHT 2009, a night to remember. :)
